Mom had a really rough time this morning. We had a palliative care nurse come by in the afternoon, and looked again at what Mom needs right now. A bed is being delivered in the next day or two - this will allow her to adjust positions and help her to be a bit more comfortable. This will also help Dad with helping her out of bed. We believe that she now needs someone with her at all times. This afternoon she looked much better, and she said that she felt a lot better too.
We remain so thankful for the love and support of friends and family, both near and far. May God continue to surround us all in His care.

Dear Helen & Herman, children, and grandchildren,
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking of you and praying for you as you go through these difficult times.
May Ps. 199:114 strengthen and comfort you.
"You are my place of safety and my shield.
Your word is my only hope."
Thank you, also, Caroline, for the updates. They provide a base for communication now that your Mom can no longer have visitors.
Blessings,
Lloyd and Hilda
Pardon my mistake with the psalm number. It should read Ps. 119.
