Mom will be getting the lung tap done to ease the fluid in her lung. The oncologist said that the x-ray showed her lung "full to the top" of fluid, and it needs to be drained. We were hoping this wouldn't be necessary, as this is a painful procedure, but the result should be that after a difficult night following the lung tap, Mom should feel a lot better than she does now. When she is sitting, she seems quite fine, but as soon as she gets up to walk, you can see that her breathing is quite compromised and that she can do very little.
