Mom's surgery took place this morning as planned. The surgeon has said that it went as he expected, and not all of the cancer was able to be removed. Mom is still very tired now of course, but is thankfully pain-free and in good spirits yet tonight. She will be in the hospital for a couple of days, but hopefully will be home soon. We are praying that her recovery will be swift, so the chemo can be started soon.
