Mom will be in the hospital till at least tomorrow yet. Her incision sites don't look great yet, and the doctors want to keep an eye on her still. She has been moved to the Pediatrics/Short Stay new wing on the hospital (just across from Surgery North). She is happy to receive visitors, as she is itching to get home and it passes the time a little faster.
Thank you all for your care, concern, and cards....Mom feels very loved and cared for. We continue to pray for her health and are thankful that she is still often in such good spirits.

Helen, it was good to see you in such good spirits today despite the fact that you didn't get to go home. You sure are a 'trooper'! We'll pray for a good transition to home and that you'll get whatever you need when you need it. Hugs, Ena
ReplyDeleteDear Helen, We've been keeping you in our prayers and checking the blog to see how you are doing. So great that you are 'your cheerful self'. That's so nice for the family. We've been on the island and then are going to Ont. tomorrow. Would love to see you but don't know if that will happen because of the ferry schedules. Lots of love, Diane
ReplyDeleteIt was a joy to see your happy face yesterday. Your sense of humor and feisty spirit are so encouraging!! May God bless you and give you all you need to be able to go home today!
ReplyDeleteLove ya, Honey!

Dear Helen,Herman and family,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that the operation is over and that you are still your cheerful self. Isn't it wonderful how God gives us the strength to handle the trials and difficulties that He sends us ? To Him be all praise. We often wonder how we will be able to handle things but He is always near us if we but ask.
You remain in our thoughts and prayers. If we lived a little closer we"d visit but will just have to keep checking here instead.
Thanks Caroline for keeping us updated
Hugs from Nancy and Ben
