Mom and Dad had a good week. Uncle Bas and Aunt Alice stayed with Dad and Mom for a week and they had a wonderful time together.
Mom had her lab work done today (Wed) and saw the doctors. She was informed that her blood count was sufficient for chemo, but are reducing the dosage to 75%, as they cannot keep wiping our her white blood counts - that is just too dangerous. This is not unusual, especially as they have given Mom the maximum dosages up to now to deal with her advanced cancer. The doctors also debated to postpone the chemo for a week, but Mom convinced them that she felt very well and wanted to get through it.
Both Mom and Dad are doing well, and very thankful that her treatments are still on track. They are also thankful for all your continued prayers and support. Through all these things may we always look to our LORD in heaven.
