Mom has another oncology visit behind her. It was again a positive meeting, and the oncologist is very pleased with the healing of her wound site. Mom phones Vancouver General every morning at 6:00 to see if she can get an earlier apppointment for her porta-cath, but at this point she is scheduled for that next Tues the 1st. Her chemo is now scheduled to start next week Thurs. morning (Sept 3). We were happy to see that the oncologist found that the nodes in Mom's neck haven't changed, and have possibly gone down in swelling a little. So now we have a week of waiting with her to start treatment - we are thankful that things are moving along and pray for continued positive visits and that the chemo will do its job.
We would also like to ask everyone to continue to remember Mom's brother Ed and Aunt Flo and family as he continues on the road to recovery.
Praise the LORD!!
